Sterling is the largest single market for stablecoin-to-fiat demand after the dollar. Faster Payments settles up to GBP 1,000,000 per payment within minutes in scheme hours, CHAPS covers larger same-day amounts, and SWIFT reaches sterling accounts held abroad. The GBP rate follows GBP/USD.

USDT is the most widely held dollar stablecoin and the one most often received from counterparties and venues. XEROF accepts it on Ethereum (ERC-20) only; a TRC-20 balance has to be moved to Ethereum first, which the sender does on their own side before transferring.

USDT/GBP is the pair UK-based holders watch most, and the indicative figure follows cable, the GBP/USD rate. Sterling proceeds leave over Faster Payments to a UK account in the holder's own name, or to a UK beneficiary under the sterling corridor.

Common questions

Is Faster Payments available for every sterling payout?
For UK accounts up to GBP 1,000,000 per payment, where the receiving bank is on the scheme. Larger amounts go by CHAPS; sterling accounts outside the UK are reached over SWIFT.
I hold USDT on Tron. Can I still settle?
Only after moving it to Ethereum (ERC-20) with the wallet or venue that holds it. XEROF cannot credit a TRC-20 transfer.
Is the USDT/GBP rate on this page the rate I will get?
No. It is the indicative mid-market rate from our liquidity venue, refreshed every 30 seconds. The rate you execute at is the live rate in XEROF Online at the moment you confirm, and the confirmation shows it with the fee.
Can the pounds sterling go to someone else's account?
Yes. A third-party payout carries an additional 0.25% for beneficiary screening. The corridor page sets out the limits, rails and documents.
