Payouts to Nigeria
Pay Nigerian naira from USDT or USDC
Nigeria is one of the largest stablecoin markets in the world, and paying naira from a USDT balance is a daily need for businesses that work with Nigerian suppliers and talent. XEROF pays NGN to a bank account in Nigeria from a USDT or USDC balance, business to business, business to consumer and consumer to business. Coverage effective 1 October 2026.

Common questions
- Which stablecoins can fund a payout?
- USDT or USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20) only. A transfer on TRC-20, Solana, Polygon or any other network cannot be used to fund a payout, so check the network before you send.
- Does the beneficiary in Nigeria need a XEROF account?
- No. The beneficiary is paid in Nigerian naira to a bank account in their own name and needs no wallet or account with XEROF.
- What does a payout cost?
- The brokerage fee on the conversion (1.00% at the entry tier, lower with monthly volume, minimum USD 200 per transaction), plus 0.25% where the fiat goes to a third-party beneficiary, plus the USD 50 fiat withdrawal fee per payment. The Fee Schedule sets out the current terms.
- Is there a minimum payout?
- There is no minimum ticket. The minimum brokerage fee of USD 200 per transaction applies, so smaller payouts carry a proportionally higher cost; the confirmation shows the fee before you commit.
- Who sets the maximum transaction size?
- The receiving market. For Nigeria the current maximum is USD 50,000 equivalent per payment. XEROF does not add a limit of its own.
- Is XEROF an exchange?
- No. XEROF is a Swiss-regulated Virtual Asset Service Provider acting as brokerage and settlement counterparty: it converts your stablecoins with its liquidity providers and pays the beneficiary from the proceeds. There is no order book and no platform account for the beneficiary.
- Is the payout made in naira or in dollars?
- In naira, to a Nigerian bank account. The USD 50,000 figure is the maximum per payment expressed in dollar equivalent.
- Can I fund the payout with USDT on TRC-20?
- No. Only USDT or USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20) can fund a payout. A TRC-20 transfer cannot be used.
