Payouts to China
Pay suppliers in China from USDT or USDC
China is the supplier corridor. Trading companies in Hong Kong, Singapore, the Gulf and Europe pay Chinese manufacturers every week, and a stablecoin treasury needs a compliant way to turn USDT or USDC into a bank transfer the supplier can receive. XEROF pays CNY or USD to a bank account in China from a USDT or USDC balance. Coverage effective 1 October 2026.
How a payout to China works
In renminbi, business to business payments run to CNY 1,000,000, and there is no limit where the payment is supported by the contract and shipping documents; business to consumer payments are capped at CNY 29,000. In US dollars, payments run to USD 500,000 and are also open consumer to business.

Common questions
- Which stablecoins can fund a payout?
- USDT or USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20) only. A transfer on TRC-20, Solana, Polygon or any other network cannot be used to fund a payout, so check the network before you send.
- Does the beneficiary in China need a XEROF account?
- No. The beneficiary is paid in renminbi or US dollars to a bank account in their own name and needs no wallet or account with XEROF.
- What does a payout cost?
- The brokerage fee on the conversion (1.00% at the entry tier, lower with monthly volume, minimum USD 200 per transaction), plus 0.25% where the fiat goes to a third-party beneficiary, plus the USD 50 fiat withdrawal fee per payment. The Fee Schedule sets out the current terms.
- Is there a minimum payout?
- There is no minimum ticket. The minimum brokerage fee of USD 200 per transaction applies, so smaller payouts carry a proportionally higher cost; the confirmation shows the fee before you commit.
- Who sets the maximum transaction size?
- The receiving market. For China the current maximum is CNY: business to consumer CNY 29,000; business to business CNY 1,000,000, no limit with contract and shipping documents. USD: USD 500,000 (business to business, business to consumer and consumer to business). XEROF does not add a limit of its own.
- Is XEROF an exchange?
- No. XEROF is a Swiss-regulated Virtual Asset Service Provider acting as brokerage and settlement counterparty: it converts your stablecoins with its liquidity providers and pays the beneficiary from the proceeds. There is no order book and no platform account for the beneficiary.
- Is there a limit on CNY supplier payments?
- Business to business payments in CNY run to CNY 1,000,000 as standard. With the contract and shipping documents there is no limit set by the receiving market.
- Can I pay a Chinese supplier in US dollars instead?
- Yes. The USD corridor to China pays up to USD 500,000 per payment to a bank account in China, and is open business to business, business to consumer and consumer to business.
- Can an individual pay a supplier in China?
- In US dollars, yes, consumer to business up to USD 500,000. CNY payments are business to business and business to consumer only.
