Payments
Accept crypto payments with a Swiss regulated gateway
Receive Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, USDC and USDT from customers into your own segregated wallet, then convert and settle to your bank account in CHF, EUR, USD or GBP. Regulated under the Swiss AMLA, VQF No. 100954.
What a crypto payment gateway looks like when it is regulated
XEROF is not a checkout plugin. It is the regulated settlement layer behind the payment: a wallet in your name to receive, screening of every payer under Swiss anti-money-laundering law, conversion at an institutional rate passed through at cost, and fiat to your bank account with the same invoice reference. Businesses use it for invoices, high-value one-off payments and recurring receipts from customers who hold cryptoassets.
Your own receiving wallet
A segregated on-chain wallet in your name. Customers and counterparties pay USDC, USDT, BTC, ETH or SOL to your address, not to a pooled account.
Conversion on your instruction
Hold what you receive, or convert to CHF, EUR, USD or GBP at the institutional rate passed through at cost, with our fee on its own line.
Fiat to your bank account
Proceeds settle to a bank account in your company name over SEPA, SWIFT, Fedwire, CHAPS or Faster Payments. Fiat can also land on a dedicated IBAN.
Swiss AML compliance
Every inbound payment is screened and every counterparty is identified under the Swiss Anti-Money Laundering Act. VQF membership No. 100954, supervised by FINMA.
Invoice-level references
Each receipt and conversion carries a reference you set, so reconciliation against your invoices is straightforward for finance and audit.
Cross-border by default
A stablecoin payment from a customer abroad arrives in minutes and settles as a domestic bank transfer, with no correspondent banking chain.
How accepting crypto payments works
Four steps from account opening to fiat in your bank account.
- 1
Open a company account
Identity verification for the company and its authorised persons, completed online. Typically 3 to 5 business days, no onboarding fee.
- 2
Share your payment details
Give your customer the wallet address for the asset and network agreed, together with your invoice reference.
- 3
Payment arrives and is screened
The transfer is confirmed on-chain, screened and credited to your segregated wallet. You see it in your account immediately.
- 4
Convert and settle
Instruct a conversion to fiat, or hold the stablecoins. Fiat leaves to your named bank account with the same reference.
Crypto payment gateway vs card gateway
Conversion fees follow the volume bands on the pricing page. The on/off ramp handles the conversion leg and a dedicated IBAN receives EUR proceeds in your company name.
Accepting crypto payments: common questions
- What is a crypto payment gateway?
- A crypto payment gateway lets a business accept cryptocurrency from customers and receive settlement in crypto or fiat. XEROF provides this as a regulated settlement service rather than a checkout plugin: you receive into your own segregated wallet, and XEROF converts and settles to your bank account on your instruction.
- Which cryptocurrencies can I accept?
- USDC, USDT, Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana. Most businesses invoice in USDC or USDT so the amount received is not exposed to price movement between payment and conversion.
- Can I get a dedicated IBAN alongside it?
- Yes. Company accounts can receive a dedicated virtual IBAN in the company name, issued through our banking partner at no charge, so fiat proceeds land on an account that is in your own name rather than a shared one.
- How long does settlement take?
- The crypto payment is confirmed on-chain within minutes. Fiat settlement follows the timing of the rail chosen, typically the same business day over SEPA or Faster Payments and one to two business days over SWIFT.
- Is this suitable for high-value or one-off payments?
- Yes. The service is used for invoices, real estate completions, luxury goods and professional fees where the payer holds cryptoassets and the recipient wants fiat. Each payment is screened individually.
- Is XEROF regulated to do this?
- FE Swiss Financial AG, dba as XEROF, is a financial intermediary under the Swiss AMLA, regulated through its membership of VQF (No. 100954), a self-regulatory organisation supervised by FINMA. Payment services are one of our three regulated activities.
